Has Anyone Purchased from Lightinthebox.com?

I purchased an "oversized" sweater from there, one size fits all. Took about 6 weeks or more to get here and it was not oversized. It may have been oversized on a petite Chinese person (company is Chinese) but on me, at 5'6, it was not oversized at all.

I purchased my veil and a cake topper. The topper arrived broken byt my veil was perfect.

I buy a lot of dance shoes on there. Long shipments and quality is just ok but you get what you pay for.

Buy stuff with a grain a salt and read the description very carefully

It's about what you'd expect from a Chinese knockoff site. Shipping takes forever and sizes are usually WAAAAAAAAY small so keep that in mind.

I'd stick to Amazon. I did order a few things from there, and they came exactly as pictured. I ended up selling most of it on because I changed my mind and just wanted something a little nicer once I saw it all put together (veil, hair clip, etc). I did, however, keep a clutch and a bracelet I'm using from that website. I'd say if you are doing a plain veil I would buy it from there. For things that you want a nicer quality for, I'd use Etsy.

My FMIL has ordered a few dresses off there, sent them her measurements and they always fit her perfectly when they arrived. I'd say just make sure you leave plenty of time for a plan B in case something on that site doesn't work out

I bought a tiara, earrings and necklace from there. The shipping date was way off! And the tiara was very small. My 9 year old daughter is wearing it although, I ordered it for myself. Here's a picture of my little angel. Wearing all 3 pieces.

My sister ordered one of the flower girl dresses for her daughters from there. It's actually really cute and just like the picture. We couldn't find anything else we liked and she was willing to risk the $20. Took a long long time to come in though

I purchased three FG dresses and they were perfect! We ordered early just in case.

Shipping is really long unless you pay the crazy extra to get it faster but it's to be expected from that site

I've ordered earrings and a headpiece but they haven't arrived yet. It was only $5 though so if it doesn't work out nbd

I got my bridesmaid dresses there, as did my sister and also one of her friends - eight dresses in total between the three of us. We were all happy with the results but we did pay the extra for custom measurements which was well worth it. My sis got her veil and shoes from there as well - shoes weren't great quality but she was only intending to wear them once so didn't care. The only pic I can find on this iPad which has the dresses in it is one of the whole bridal party (which is one of my faves anyway because of my three hilarious pageboys!). But yeah, allow time for shipping.

I ordered hair combs from them. They came as pictured and were decent quality. As everyone has said, shipping takes a while.

Also, I forgot - use a throwaway email address because you will NEVER get off their mailing list.

For my brother's wedding, my SIL had us get our bridesmaid dresses from there. Let's just say I couldn't move my arms at all- maybe they do have good merchandise and this was a fluke....but I would be wary

I bought my four bridesmaid dresses from there. They were all ordered in regency and two arrived correctly. Then, for 4 months I returned the other two 3 times in order for them to be correct.

The dresses themselves are nice, but they did send me US sizes when I selected UK. But, given the limited selection of dresses here, it was one of the only options.
