I haven't made my registry yet, but are kitchenaids that big of a deal if you don't bake often? Or I guess, what do you ladies use yours for?

MrsMeyers, you can do EVERYTHING with a kitchenaid. There are attachments too. Make homemade pasta, make ice cream, grind your own beef.... You name it.

@mrsmeyerstobe I use mine for way more than baking. Mind you, I'm a baker and considered it for my career, but went a different route.

But we have the ice cream attachment. And all the other attachments make it so useful.

Plus. It's a kitchenaid. It's beautiful. I treat mine better than I treat FH.

Good to know! I love having awesome gadgets in the kitchen, but FH hates it. He hates having things on our counters, but I feel like a kitchenaid is too beautiful to hide in the cupboard. We will see when we set up our registry if he'll go for it.
