Hair trial... How do you narrow down the choices???

Jenna Whitt, on June 5, 2014 at 3:13 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 5

I don't know about you, ladies, but I have about twenty styles pinned on my wedding board, and I love them ALL. How many trials are standard, and how do I narrow the styles to about three??

Thanks for reading...

Ask your hairstylist which ones would look good for your hair. I found some styles I loved, but which wouldn't have looked good on me because of the texture/length/color of my hair (one braided style I loved looked beautiful on blonde hair, but not so much on dark).

I looked in the book, said, "I like this one." and we went with that.

I agree with HappyGirl. Use your hairstylist's expertise to pick one that will look good and will work with your hair.

I am going to tell them the feel of what I want, and allow them to do what they think will be best. I remember my prom, I had my heart SET on a certain up-do. The stylist doing my hair looked at me and said, "No." It hurt my feelings at first, but when she was done, I was blown away. I hadn't seen anything like it. She did two braids and wrapped them around my head with my tiara (yes--- i'm a total princess) wedged between them. Everyone was gushing about it. I hope my wedding style is that much of a success!!

I first thought about how I look in pics with hair up or down. I hate with my hair up, so that narrowed it down a lot! I had my regular stylist give me loose curls after a trim and then took our engagement pics (so not a trial, just the normal quick styling they do after a cut). And I loooooved it! So we'll basically be doing that, with a little more ompth and hold. I say think about what looks good on you, what goes with your dress/style, and use your stylist. I'm sure you will love it!
