I would do another makeup trial. Your eyes need more and I would change the lip color. It doesn’t stand out

I think your hair looks great! As for the makeup, I agree there should be more definition. Remember with the photos they tend to wash out our faces so a little more goes a long way. I think you are a beautiful girl and just a little tweaking will be all you need.

Just explain to her that it doesn't have the pop you are looking for. Ask for a second trial. I love your hair though.

Agreed for more curls...the style is pretty but honey that is not bridal ready make-up. Tell her how you feel if you are going to let her do your hair and makeup. I understand the last thing you want is to hurt her feelings but if you dont say something your you could be the one with hurt feelings on your day.

I was going to say the makeup looks great! But then I realized you're just reallllly pretty I agree with the others that it needs to be a little more dramatic for the wedding.

She would probably appreciate a nice nudge in the right direction. Friends have a way of knowing when your not 100% satisfied and constructive criticism is usually welcome with stylist and artists.

The girl doing my hair is my moh's cousin. During my trial, I hated one part of it. I told her "This isn't me. Can we change it?" So she adjusted it and I loved it! Just be honest and tell her it isn't you.

Just be honest with her and tell her you want more with your makeup!

I do not think the makeup looks bad by any means, but it's definitely too simple for a bridal look. Tell her you want to glam it up a bit. Find some inspiration pictures online to give her some ideas of what you're looking for. MUAs don't always know exactly what their brides are looking for and a picture helps a lot in a situation like this.

I think that your hair will look beautiful, but I honestly did not realize that you were wearing makeup - it seems too natural. Do you have any photos of how you would like your makeup to look, maybe some off of Pinterest? And do you have any ideas of what you would like to look different? Perhaps a bolder eye or lip color? Contouring or highlighting?

I completely understand how you feel, since this person is helping you out, and I know that I would feel bad saying something as well... however, since it is your wedding day, you definitely need to for risk of not feeling your best on your wedding day. The last thing you want is to look back and think "I wish I said something."

My recommendation would be to find some photos and reach out and say something along the lines of "I just found some of these photos online and I really want my makeup to pop on my wedding day. I know we just had our trial, but can you help me achieve one of these looks?" It might sound like a baby way about it, but at least you're sparing the feelings of someone who is helping you.

I love your hair piece! If possible I would schedule a second trial. Everything looks like the same color so nothing really stands out. I would suggest a more colorful lip rather than a nude lip. For the eyes, can she incorporate some color? I would also add more blush.

I agree with what everyone else has said. Your hair looks beautiful but you definitely need more curls and volume. The make up looks more everyday. You need more of a pop with your eyes and lips.

I'm not someone who regularly wears makeup. I would've been happy with it. It looks really natural. And your hair, with more curls is going to look awesome!!! I like it all.

I think the makeup is done really well, it's just not special occasion makeup. Did you tell her you were going for a natural look? Did you bring pictures of looks you liked? I would do as PP's said and giver her more direction.

Definitely voice your opinions and concerns. You look beautiful but not bridal.
