My future Sister-in-law and her husband are a bit "unkempt" to put it kindly. How can I make it clear that they should "clean up" for the wedding without being offensive? Let me specify, he has the Duck Dynasty look and doesn't pull his hair back. I don't want them to feel that bc the ceremony and...

My future Sister-in-law and her husband are a bit "unkempt" to put it kindly. How can I make it clear that they should "clean up" for the wedding without being offensive? Let me specify, he has the Duck Dynasty look and doesn't pull his hair back. I don't want them to feel that bc the ceremony and reception are separate one should be less formal.

    With the 100 things you'll have going on you probably won't even notice. If its the pics that bother you don't take pics with them if they get in some pics don't display those pics. But like pp mentioned there's no nice way of telling them.

    You can simply ask what they are thinking of wearing and make suggestions.

    I will be lucky if my dad puts on a suit for our wedding, but I don't care it's a celebration. You can only worry about yourself.

    I know what you mean just wanting everyone to look nice. My cousin's wife came dressed in a t-shirt, jeans and Nikes to my Mom's funeral. I'm just waiting to see what she'll wearing to the wedding. LOL

    Since these are in laws let you fh drop the hint. If not don't worry about it unless they are in wedding party. which they probably are not. If they are then you should be able to be allowed to let them know what your wishes are about appearance for pics.

    Yeah that's just offensive. Let them be who they are. Everyone does not have to be picture perfect, as long as they are there and don't smell that's all you can ask for. If only 10 people there then they probably already how these people present.
