Does anyone in the Baltimore area know a great photographer that isn't going to break the bank

    Great photographers aren't cheap.

It depends on what your definition of "break the bank" is...the the WW vendor tab. You should be able to refine the results based on your budget.

Try asking at a local college with a photography program. Usually the professors know the best talent to pick!

We had someone really lovely shoot our engagement pictures in Fells Point. Her business is called Nessa K Photography. She's based in Towson. I'm not sure on her wedding pricing but for the engagement shoot it was about $900.

Were getting married in my home state so we had someone else doing our wedding pictures.

Remember also, it's better to have less time with a really good one than a complete package with two goofs who shoot all day for $800.00. Be flexible, if you care about quality, the budget will sort itself.

No. Do not hire a college student. Weddings are rapid fire events and an inexperienced person who takes great photos of trees isn't going to give you the results you want.

Great and cheap aren't going to happen.

    Pick on.

    You can have great.

    Or you can have cheap.

You cut out something less important and reconfigure your budget. Or you work your ass off for the next two years to save the money. 2 years. You have tons of time.

YOu have tons of time, but you're on a prime date; I wouldn't expect a bargain nor would I expect a great photographer to work for a shorter period of time for less money on a date like that.

I live right outside of Baltimore. I found prices for highly rated photographers to be around 1500 and up.
