I'm doing a candy buffet but need to know a couple of things... How many jars do I need, how big are yours or what would you compare it to, how much did you spend per jar, and is this overrated is it extremely more expensive than other useful fun favors....

How much candy depends on how many guests and your candy buffet budget.

How many jars depends on the above and how you want to display it.

I used plastic candy buckets from Oriental Trading not just for my budget but because they will be easy to transport and I can leave them behind at the venue.

Not overrated in my case as FH asked if we could have it.

Not expensive again, because of planning and the use of the plastic containers.

    Hope that helps Smiley smile

I got some jars at Wal-Mart the 2 gallon was $8 with lids and then I'm gonna have some open jars for my wrapped candy. I will be using 3 of the 2 gallon jars and 5 or 6 other glass containers in different sizes and heights. Good luck and have fun. If you aren't using a certain colors, you may get a deal after Easter.
