Gift for the Groom

I'm doing a boudoir shoot! He'll get the book the morning of the wedding.

The watch sounds like a lovely idea. So does the journal. I've other people on the forum keep a journal for the last 100 days before their wedding and give it to there groom during first look

I think the journal is so sweet and he’ll love it! I’m also doing a boudoir photo book.

I’ve been working on this large journal I bought years ago and didn’t know what to do with so i made it into a “our story book” filling it with pictures and writings of moments since we got together leading up to our wedding day. It’s taking some time.

I never thought about a gift. Is it required? There's already so much to pay for.

Nothing lol, I guess we just get the gift of each other!

I engraved a watch for a christmas present that went over really well. For my next trick, I was thinking of engraving a belt for suspenders for the big day with something like "keep it together man, its our big day."

Me! I am the gift lol jkjk I’m thinking about a really nice gift. But I’m waiting to decide a little closer to see where I’m at money wise.

I'm getting him a bottle of his favorite cologne and a love note!!
I saw somebody on here wrote in a journal for him every day for the last 100 days before their wedding and I thought that was so sweet!!

I got my fiancé a Mavado watch and I’m getting him a nice card expressing my love to him to go with it.

My SO has lost his parents and they divorced when he was a teen so I ordered canvases of our dog we had 12 years and lost the week of our engagement and one of his parents together and doing a memorial in lateen with dollhouse chair, tea light, and memento if parent (guitar for dad and silver tea service for mom) along with poem for each parent

Our wedding day is also his birthday, so it is a combo gift. Me and a watch , with a nice note that I can't think of a bigger gift to give than myself, that I am so lucky to spend every second, minute, hour, day, week, month, and year as his wife, and a ps of "don't be late". LOL

I've been trying to think of something. He is a simple guy, and doesn't need or want much. I gave him a PS4 for Christmas last year and he was thrilled by it. I got him a wallet for his birthday because he asked for one. I'm stumped at the moment

I'm buying his ring and I think I'll be doing a photo album/huge frame of our engagement photos

We have not discussed it yet. We will wait closer to see with all other expenses if we can afford it. I mean a whole wedding and a honeymoon is gift enough for us. I know he always has his eye on this expensive whiskey so maybe I will get that if we decide to do gifts!

I'm getting him a hunting rifle he really wants, and engraving it. Before I thought about the gun, I was considering a nice bottle of scotch & engraved watch. I'm also going to hand write him a letter!

I talked about this with my groom and we were like "ummm the gift to each other is our wedding" haha. I can't imagine yet ANOTHER expense and neither could he. We aren't doing gifts
