Garters! Can I see yours?

Well my MIL's was in my purse for something borrowed lol..i didnt wear one..nor did we toss the bouquet bec. there wasn't any singles there.

But we did an anniversary dance and I gave my daughter's little bouquet to my Aunt and Uncle who were married 44 years.

I dont think i even kept my bouquet..it was too heavy to carry and it woudlont have lived lol..so we dumped all the flowers.

Life is bk to normal whew! I'm relieved.

Haven't got it yet, but this is for sure the one I am buying off Etsy. I had a different one, but when I seen this, I fell in love! And its my Something Blue

And, the point of the 2, is so you can keep the pretty, big one as a memento. The little, plainer one is the tosser.

We had two brides, but weren't doing a garter toss. So NotFroofy wore one of the garters, and I wore the other. I will agree, though, that keeping one and tossing the other is the more usual approach.

Here is mine. FH is pretty excited about it being that he is a huge Packers fan!

I just don't know what kind of garter I want!! I was thinking of doing some camo, since FH is in the marines and a huge country boy, but I am more attracted to the lacy type of garters like soon to be's.

Do the garter's have to match?? Any ideas how I can incorporate lace and camo?

If you buy garter sets, they typically will match. However, if you want to make them, or buy more than one set and mix them, there is no real reason they have to match. Typically, only you and your new husband see the keeper one.

Here is what we are doing. Every member of our bridal party will be wearing garter and one of these flasks, so that at some point during the ceremony we will be stopping the ceremony to take a little nip.... Of course the male flasks are for the guys and the females will be for girls. So the FH and I will end up with a set.

I'm planning a VERY similar thing, my fiance LOVES the titans, so this is what I'm planning on getting. Two, of course, one for him! He has no clue, it's just one more surprise that he'll get on the day of!

That is really pretty! However my colors are a tab darker than that, and I really want lace, because I have lace detail on my sash...

What about the center one here?

Its lacy, but yet I could incorporate the marines for FH....

It desn't have blue though... but I could do blue another place.

@Desire, I love the idea of incorporating something for FH. That is why I really want to do the marine camo thing... even though its not really my style.

So here's the new question, do I get a garter I love, or one that will mean a lot to FH Traditionally are garter's for FH?

What if u got the big garter that you are in love with, and find some sort of smaller toss one for ur hubby that he would like? Maybe u could find a navy camo small garter that would go with your glam one
