I am inviting my sister's husband's family but we are all friends I thinks it's probably just personal preference

We did not do this. I think if these parents are not part of you (and FHs) past, present or future then I wouldn't invite them (unless you have the capacity and &dollar.

My fiance wants to invite his bro-in-law's parents. I don't know them well enough, but we are going to.

We are not... that would add quite a few people who we barely know and who wouldn’t hardly know anyone...

I don't plan to add my brother's in laws. We barely know them. This definitely depends on what kind of relationship you have.

I wouldn't unless they were super close family friends. Doesn't sound like either of you really have a relationship with them so it seems weird to invite them (unless the parents are paying and then they get to choose).

We are inviting my sisters in laws but we know them pretty well. My sister also asked if I could as both her and my brother in law are in the wedding and want to have fun that night so her in laws are babysitting at the wedding.

We are not inviting my FHs brothers in laws though.

I say if you dont know them then dont invite them.

I wanted to invite my sister's in laws bc we have shared many moments with the birth of my sister's son (the first baby on both sides of their family) but we decided against it due to space/guest list constraints. I don't think it's weird if you have a good relationship with them and can afford to host them.

I think it's weird but I lost that battle and they are coming to our wedding. Worst part is I hate the SIL's mother, she's terrible. I don't know who FI is going to stick at a table with them.

It depends on specific relationships. If my sil's siblings get married I'd be surprised not to be invited, not upset but surprised.
