Favorite vacuum?

Hi everyone! Me and FI are looking for a good vacuum to add to our registry and I'm a little lost. We have two dogs who shed a lot, so it's important that it pick up dog hair on hard surfaces well. Ours now tends to just blow it everywhere and drives me crazy unless I use the hose attachment, though that's a little unreasonable for the whole house! Am I expecting too much or does this exist somewhere out there? Thanks!

    We have the pet Dyson but, my favorite of all time is a Rainbow. Yes, I am that weird lady.

    I have this Shark. I love it. We have 2 cats, and it does a great job picking their hair off hardwood floors and carpet.

    @meghan I have that vacuum and I love it! I'm much more excited than I should be about a vacuum. FH's Dyson broke and I had to convince him my Shark was just as good and easier to maneuver.

    I have a Hoover Pet Rewind with a husky who blows his coat. Works great for us.

    Versamatic. They are made for commercial cleaning but can be purchased for home use.

    We have a Dyson Animal and it works like a dream. I actually enjoy vacuuming now because it makes it so easy!
