family member officiating?

I come Rom a family of musicians and pastors. I am thinking about keeping the ceremony "in the family"

Is anybody have a parent, uncle, aunt, cousin that is a Pastor officiating your wedding? Or family members doing the music?

Any words of advice?

How 're you doing counseling

are you paying them?

When are you asking them?

    Yeah my brother is marrying us. We have already asked him. Smiley smile

    We are not paying him but we will be buying him a very nice thank you gift. I am just not sure what that will be yet.

    We are not doing any sort of counseling.

    As far as the music goes I have not got that far yet! I guess I should start thinking about that. We will not be having anyone in the family do any sort of music.

    My mom will be marrying us....No charge, no counseling. My mom doesn't speak English well so I will have another relative translating. I already told her I want it nice and short - 10mins max! She will say a few nice words first (from her heart) then she'll start the actual speech.

    My brother is getting married in October and his future bride's dad is the pastor and he will walk her down in the aisle and marrying the couple.

    It would be more meaningful to both of them as the family member is marrying them.
