Fake Eyelashes/Makeup

Future Mrs., on November 18, 2011 at 12:28 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 41

I have a friend who is getting married close to the time that I am. She wears makeup to take out the trash & gotta have on fake eyelashes all the time. I NEVER wear makeup & had never considered fake eyelashes! I have a makeup girl for the wedding but she knows not to pile that on me but eyelashes are bit much for me. I'm thinking, what if I cry or blink too hard....ANY BAD FAKE EYELASH EXPERIENCES??

One thing to think about - do you naturally have long eyelashes? If you do, you won't need them.

I have no bad experiences with the false lashes but have had great ones even with the tears...so I would def say go with them, will make your pictures look fabulous!

I am thinking of having eyelash extensions done professional. I don't think I could do the false ones myself. I'm no good at application at all.

I have eye lash extension so they are a little different in that they are semi-permanent and last 3-4 weeks. I love them because I don't have to worry about them falling off and I can cry ALL I want to and it still looks like I have a fresh coat of mascara on! Prior to this I've work strips for special occasions, if applied properly, they usually stay on and as Abby and Karla said, you can't even tell they are there. They are inexpensive and definitely enhance your look without being over the top (so long as you pick the right ones). Just be sure to bring extra glue and q-tips incase the corners start to lift... If you're a crier, I totally would go for it!

Ashley A., here's a pic of when the same girl did my makeup without lashes. I think they're long enough, lol

Heather b., oh no they would have to be done professionally. I don't even know how to put on eyeliner so I could imagine how jacked up my eyelashes would be, if I did them. I'm just nervous about having them. I know I'm going to cry, smh.

I never wore false eyelashes in my life until my wedding day. The lady that did my makeup talked me into it Smiley smile I couldn't even tell they were on. I did not have a problem with mine at all.

I had my fake lashes applied by my MUA...I could feel them for the first half or so and then I got used to them and totally forgot about them. Would do it again in a heartbeat.

I have really long eyelashes and my MOH thought I was crazy to wear fake ones but they just made my eyes pop that much more. I could feel them for about 5 minutes and then they were totally fine. I loved them.

I'm a fan of eyelashes. If applied right, they wont come off. I say go to you local drug store and buy the strip or go to nearest MAC counter and have them apply. Here is the good, bad, and the ugly

I have naturally long eye lashes, so I wont be getting fake ones. All I need is some good mascara and I am good to go! I am getting the airbrush make up done though for the big day. =]

I had fake ones on my bid day and they were awesome. They really do make your eyes pop, and after the first few minutes you wont even feel them anymore!

I'm definitely having my MUA apply false lashes. And I am not one who normally wears them. I think, though you may take an hour or so to get used to the feel of them, they REALLY enhance your eyes and give you a polished, fancy look. Even if you naturally have long lashes, they make them fuller and just really frame your eyes. Maybe see if they can do some more separated, subtle ones?

To future mrs. B-- I'm the same way! Can't even apply eyeliner well. I'm sure they will be super awesome and they are supposed to hold up really well. At least this way you can be sure you won't have any malfunctions! Smiley smile No touch ups even.
