Envelope help

I have been having the WORST time finding an envelope I like. I really want mint, but would prefer if it wasn’t just plain mint paper. I was hoping for pearlescent or shimmery mint envelopes, but I’ve scoured the internet and can’t find anything. The only things I have found that look close are lagoon or aqua lagoon, but when I ordered samples they’re either too green or too blue. Every site I’ve found that has the pearlescent kind seem to only be those two. I’m willing to even go with a different color envelope if I could find pearlescent mint cardstock to do a pocket fold for the invites, but I can’t seem to find that either. Has anyone seen any anywhere or is my only option a plain mint paper envelope?

The only pearlescent one that I can find is "Aquamarine" from CardsandPockets.com

I saw that one too, I ordered a sample even though I know aquamarine is blue and just as I expected it’s blue. A very pale/ grey blue, but blue nonetheless. 😔

Where are you getting your invitations from? I know BasicInvite had a lot of envelope choices for like $0.20 extra/invitation (plain were free).

Sorry to be blunt, but invitation envelopes go straight in the trash. Please don't stress about this!

I mean deep down I know that, it was just something that I really wanted instead of a plain ugly mint envelope.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news but no one other than you and maybe one or two other people will give a flying frak about the envelopes. They will be tossed unless they have something useful in them.

Agreed. If you are stressing this much about envelopes you are going to completely stress yourself out throughout the entire planning. It’s not worth it.

I hear you - you want something really special. I think you need to go to a real wedding invitation engraver for that kind of color as it's so specific. You may try Paper Divas or "ZAZZLE." Have you looked at the ones from Hobby Lobby? I got navy ones from Staples (jam, i think) but i don't know if they'd have a pearlescent.

Save yourself the money. It will be going in the recycling bin or trash directly after being opened.

I agree with just saving the money and doing regular envelopes. My invites will be sent out with the plain ugly white envelopes that they came with. The envelope of every invitation that I receive gets thrown into the trash.
