Dress decision dilemma

Sarah , on August 30, 2018 at 5:16 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 19
I can't make up my mind. I've narrow down the choices of a dress to the to pictured but I am torn between them. I never pictured myself in either of them but I love the way I look in both. They both are champagne-colored with Ivory overlay. The floor length has a corset back that isn't shown. When when I have asked my family and bridal party for their opinions they have simply said both look beautiful on me and it is my decision but I can't decide!

Hi Sarah, and welcome to the WeddingWire community!! Smiley ring Your family and bridal party are both right: you look beautiful in both of those dresses!! But if I had to choose one, I would have to go with the floor-length one. It's classic and I love how the shoulder straps lay! I'd be really interested in seeing the back of it if you have any pictures!

Just remember: in the end, you're the one wearing the wedding dress, so whichever one makes you feel the best is the one you should choose Smiley smile Have you thought about any jewelry or accessories you might want to wear?

I prefer the second one better. Both look beautiful on you, but the first one kind of shortens you and the second one gives you long lines

If you go with the first, we will be dress twins! That’s the dress I picked as well. 😊💖

I do think both are beautiful in their own ways, but if I had to choose one I do like the floor-length. I am partial to the elegant styles though Smiley winking

I like the second one on you better. For some reason when I saw the first one on you it reminded me of a flower girl's dress - maybe it is the sash and the way it is tied in a bow in the back.

I like the second one more. It looks more grown up, for lack of a better term. It flatters you more than the first.

I prefer the second. Not sure how you feel about strapless, but have you tried it without the straps? I think without the straps it will elongate your figure even more. But it’s still a elegant, classic look either way. Agree that the first looks more like a flower girl dress.

They are both beautiful dresses! I think the first dress has beautiful back detail and flatters your figure so much! Love the buttons down the back! It would help to get the whole picture if we could see you wearing a pair of shoes you would walk down the isle with. With shorter dresses the dress is only part of the equation.
the second dress does give you beautiful long lines but I keep getting hung up on the straps. They look a little awkward and uncomfortable, strapless may be a way to go. The thing I like about the first dress so much is that it accentuated you waist! Maybe try a belt on the longer dress and see how you feel.
