Thanks Nik! I've been looking at options all week...i'll sit quielty in the corner and wait for responses to this.

Instead of bows, you could decorate with something else for a more modern look, and then you can bring in your colors too.

I like the flower balls and the nosegays for outdoor weddings . keep in mind your weddings style and your dress . Sometimes too much can detract from you on your wedding day. In taking photos I always want to see the bride be the center piece. think about what your ceremony will look like with you in it.

Here are some different ones that I made for my son's wedding last year, mind you these are year old. They were fast and easy to make. I used the Bowdabra to make them, 2.5" ribbon, and tulle, and just basically followed the instructions in the Bowdabra My DIL wanted the bows longer on the bottom like they are.

We're doing hanging thingies every other pew so I was just going to do a bow on the ones without the hanging flower majigits

I was at Michael's last week after this thread was originally posted & saw the bows they had made in the flower section... I immediately thought of this thread & kind of giggled to myself because the 80's definitely threw up on those bows at Micheal's!!
