A lot of people on here met their FH online, including me! Nothing wrong with that Not sure what type of advice or suggestions you're looking for, but take lots of pics at the engagement party. We have like 2 good ones and that's it. I wish we were more into taking pictures...we always forget.

one of my best friends met her husband online and they've been married for 15 years - just celebrated. Back then it was really frowned upon. Not so much now

Welcome to WW! My best advice is to use the checklist that WW provides and don't be afraid to get things done early (as long as you are sure you won't change your mind). I was OCD about checking things off our list when we first got engaged, and with 61 days to go I'm glad that I don't have a lot of last-minute things to do. Also, the girls & guys on the boards are super helpful (couldn't have planned our wedding without them), so don't be afraid to ask questions! The search function is super-helpful too. Start early on tasks, especially if you have any DIY projects: start practicing/learning, etc. And have fun! Keep things in perspective, keep things low stress, keep it low drama.

Thank you so much everyone and i am definitely going to use this check list. I planned my brothers wedding and i was the check list queen lol. I am so nervous and tbh still in shock lol.

I met my fw in a lesbian chat room! And we have been living together for over 71/2 years! There's nothing wrong with that... in fact I think it's funny, the family members kept telling me I was wasting my time in chat rooms, then BAM, met the love of my life! They haven't said anything since! My fw is 8 years older than me too! I'm 31 and she is 39! My sister's husband is 13 years older than her, age is just a number. The fact that you are only 3 years older... isn't weird to me at all!

14 members not including you guys in your wedding party is going to be expensive, just saying.

Thanks for all the encouraging words. I feel at home already lol. @angie I know it's going to be expensive but every one is buying their own dress/outfits. I plan on the men just wearing a dress shirt and slacks. I want something pretty simple so i think we can keep costs down by having people get their own things. One thing i am worried about is getting everyone a little gift for being in the wedding.

I met my FH online as well back in 2011 (OKCupid) and we've been going strong since. He makes me so happy! I don't think there's anything wrong with meeting your love online, so people need to stop with their judgmental crap.

Thank you @Annael25! They are getting better but I know the judgement is there. But our love is strong and that's all that matters!
