Hi guys. As some of you know, I bought a dress on sale at David's Bridal for $499. A few weeks ago, I went to DB to look at bridesmaid dresses and colors. I wasn't completely sold on their color selection, so today I went to another bridal shop in my area. An employee in there just received a size 4 dress that fits like a 2, and asked me if I would try it on because no one that came in could fit into the dress and she was excited to see it. I tried it on and it was beautiful. I asked to try on a few more that caught my eye (I love dresses). The first thing I noticed about them all is that they were comfortable, sturdy, and didn't feel like they were going to rip!! I was in shock, because at DB, every dress felt so fragile and like it could fall apart at any second. These dresses were incredibly sturdy and well made. I've decided to sell my DB dress and buy a pricier dress for the quality. I want my dress to hold up, and the dress I got didn't feel like it was going to hold up.

Continued: I tried on many, but I have it narrowed down to 2 that I love. Number one is 2244 Casablanca, and number two is 2801 Marilee. I will include pictures of other people in those dresses since the shop didn't allow photos.

I love the casablanca! Very beautiful. When is your wedding date? Before you make another purchase I'd look around all over again and make sure you find the one you truly love. But both of these gowns are stunning. I just wouldn't want to go through a 2nd round of dress regret!

I've always noticed DB is always cheap material versus other places I've been. I never buy anything from them and won't be looking for my bridesmaids dresses there.

2! I'm a Mori Lee bride, and am obsessed with her designs (and quality!)
ETA: one of my other final choices was also a Casablanca. It just didn't compare to my Mori Lee, though!

Yeah, I've always been anti-DB, and after I actually tried on dresses there, I knew for SURE I was definitely anti-DB! Not only are the dresses cheaper (quality-wise), they are uglier, and the customer service in the store I went to was awful.
