I’m not doing one but if I did I would use Stand By me or you’ll be in my heart. And I know it’s cliche but butterfly kisses still makes me cry every time I hear it.

My dad chose "My Wish" by Rascal Flats. Neither of us like country music but the lyrics are just absolutely perfect for a father-daughter song.

My dad didn’t want to do anything cheesy (probs because it would make him cry) so we polka danced and then 30 seconds in invited everyone to join us! It was a lot of fun.

Thinking about I loved her first by heartland or The girl you think I am by Carrie Underwood, my dad has been avoiding talking about the dance (he is getting emotional about giving me away) so I am not very sure what song I going to do.

I'm using the instrumental version of "Suddenly" from the Les Miserables soundtrack. This is the part in the story where Jean Valjean takes in Cosette. It's at this moment he realizes the weight of his decision, to care for this little girl.
It's one of my favorite productions. Plus my dad's side of the family is French so....

Very cliche but Ill be using Butterfly Kisses. I remember dancing with my dad to that song at a Daddy-Daughter dance when I was like 8 and he cried, which stuck out to me since my dad is a blue collar retired Navy guy who never really showed emotions. Ive remembered that moment since then and knew it would be our song to dance to for the wedding when I started planning!
