Crepe paper photo booth back drop

Rachel, on July 22, 2015 at 11:42 AM Posted in Do It Yourself 0 5

We've decided to do a "selfie station" at our wedding. I've purchased a couple of selfie sticks and have an idea for the backdrop but am having a hard time making it happen. I want to do strips of crepe paper in my wedding colors, peach, light pink and burgundy, but am having a hard time finding peach and burgundy crepe streamers at the same store. Shipping seems to be really high everywhere I look so I need to get all the streamers from the same place.

Anyone have suggestions of where I can find crepe tissue in these colors? Thanks!

Have you found Luna Bazaar yet? they have alot of different colors of the crepe paper and the price is pretty average from what i was seeing when i was thinking of making one.

That's an awesome website but alas, they don't have the colors I need. Thanks.

That sounds like such a cute idea, and I like the idea of having the texture behind the guests photos. One thought, though... having alternating strips of dark and light will look different in a photo than in person, and also can affect the way the camera reads the light/flash. There's a reason that professional photobooth companies (I used one at my wedding) provide only solid color backdrops... You might want to consider peach with ivory instead of peach and burgundy - this will give you the 'fun' element, and probably will be easier to find Smiley winking

Hmmm, thanks for the tip. I'll have to talk to my photographer about that.
