Couples getting married on Oct 6, 2018 in Arizona

Michelle, on January 1, 2018 at 10:23 PM Posted in Arizona Planning 0 12

Hello October weddings! Looks like we're all getting married on the same day! Is anyone doing an outdoor ceremony/reception for their wedding? I'm a little worried about the heat outside but seeing if anyone else had any worries there!

Congratulations on your wedding. We are doing an outside wedding and I know October will be a warm time but it can go either way.

Our Wedding is outside and our reception is in a barn type area. We are having ours at 5pm to some what beat the heat.

We our doing ours indoor for the ceremony and indoor/outdoor on a nice patio for the reception. I was worried about the heat too, especially with this winter being so mild!!

Hi! Congrats! We are doing outdoors but closer to sunset so it shouldn't be too warm. I'm just happy monsoon will be over.

Yes I’m thinking the same! Looked at the history of October weather.. it could be really hot in high 90’s or just perfect at low 90’s. Hope Mother Nature is on our side that day!

I know with being in Arizona and it being in the mid 70s in January we could either have freezing temps by our wedding dates or wanting to get married in bikinis.

This is the predicted weather for my area on our wedding days. I'm glad we are getting married in the evening😉.

I got married last week in Texas and when I originally checked the weather when we booked the venue in October it said it was going to be about 40 degrees and overcast. After lots of prayers we ended up with sunny and mid-60s, so just keep in mind that things can change a lot!

Mine is going well but I have had my wedding planned for years and thankfully my fiance came along and liked the ideas so he went along with it. I have a great support system that has been working with me to help me accomplish all my plans. Plus, I do "event planning" all the time and I'm surrounded by event planners who help me so it keeps the stress levels down. I do hope things get better for you though. Just keep looking forward to your marriage. That keeps me grounded. Even if things don't go perfectly as I planned I'm marrying my best friend and I look forward to that.

Yes, I will be praying! Our wedding is in Vail in October and it will be 87°/63° and outside! Even though it will be at sunset I don't want everyone sweating. Congrats on your wedding!
