Good morning/afternoon/evening,

My name is Luis and my fiancé’s name is Anthony. Long story short- we decided to send out what we call ‘Surprise you are invited’ cards to all our guests. We spent days and days making these cards and proof reading them as we edit them. The cards arrive on Monday and I just noticed there is a typo on one of the words printed on the cards. We have put ‘Last’ instead of ‘Lasts’. Anthony suggested not to worry, that we can add the S ourselves but I am the typical guy who wants everything to be perfect. So now I’m like biting my nails on whether I should reprint them or adding the S ourselves.
The place I ordered them from doesn’t reprint them or so I read.
You can take a look at the cards and read the first sentence below ‘We can’t wait to celebrate with you!’

Any my suggestion will be helpful and thank you for you time.

PS.... Hopefully your comments will calm me down.

    I probably wouldn’t have really noticed it if you didn’t point it out. It’s lovely, I’d leave it alone and not fret about it.

    Like the others who posted, I wouldn't have noticed it either if you didn't point it out. The mind has a way of correcting things when we read. I'd leave it too, nothing major. I wouldn't add the s, the font change will draw attention to it .

    Our invites had EIGHT sets of eyes on it and no one noticed that the date was correct but the day of the week wasn't correct.

    Everything will be fine, congratulations!!

    I think it would be fine and not really noticeable to people. I know a lot of us will stress about little details like this. But try not too. They look beautiful!

    It’s TOTALLY fine. This is one of those brain tricks where your mind anticipates it and reads it correctly anyway. I truly don’t think anyone will notice it. It’s also just a small extra detail, not like any sort of super important info (date, time, location ), so I’d just leave it completely alone. I wouldn’t even add the S yourselves— that would just call attention to it. It looks perfect as is

    I don't think people will notice, I'm not sure I'd try to add it yourselves though. I think that would make it more noticeable. Some invitation companies let you return them if you are unhappy, you could check into that?

    I don't think people will notice. I wouldn't add the "s" as I think it will draw attention to it.

    My brain fixed! I think it helps that it's the last part of the sentence and your brain is already used to the the other words having an S. I think you will be okay.

    Adding the s will make what's completely unnoticeable, Very noticeable. Just leave it be, it's completely fine

    Hi Luis!! Welcome to the community and congratulations!!! I love the idea of sending this surprise invite, it looks great! I definitely didn't notice and had to read your original post to see if I was missing something lol!! When I was reading it in my head it made total sense. Don't stress, I'm sure others won't noticeSmiley heart

    I think that sort of thing doesn't matter. People will be shouting with joy and won't even notice. Plus, a wedding is a free party so who can complain about that?

    I would of never noticed, unless you pointed it out. I would honestly just leave it alone. Looks good the way it is Smiley smile.

    The quote is so beautiful, I just kept reading on. I don't think anyone will notice. I wouldn't have them reprinted or fill in a "s".

    Hello ladies,

    Good morning/afternoon/evening! Thank you for your input regarding this. Yes, I got a little worried regarding this issue; it is the first time I am planning a wedding hahaha. I want to thank you all for telling me not to fix what it is unnoticeable.

    Once we received the cards, Anthony and I were really happy how beautifully they came out! We really did a good job. Smiley smile

    We decided to be a little creative and used Black Linen with Silver Foil Envelopes. We also used Silver Foil Labels for the addressees and sender info. Inside the envelopes we inserted a card with a bible passage about love - probably you all have either read or heard it - 1 Corinthians 13:4-8 along with our own autographs. We sent them this past Monday and most of our guest already received them. They all Loved them!!!!!!!!! We are really happy about this.
