Both are very pretty. What about alternating your BMs and including both colors?

They are both equally beautiful. #1 is softer and #2 is more dramatic. Either will work well so just choose the color you are more drawn to.

I think there are ways you could include both of these colors beautifully! For example, the groomsmen could wear ties in the darker colors. Or you flowers could have a few darker accents to add richness. The colors are really cohesive and could live together in many ways.

If you're adamant at selecting one or the other, I'd go lighter, but that really is a personal preference.

Both are lovely, and your dress is GORGEOUS! I wanted to look at an extremely similar dress, but it was out-of-stock.

I think the lilac is better-suited for Spring and the month of April. Burgundy is a fall and winter color.

My wedding colors are similar to the burgundy/navy pictures you posted. But I really like the lavender color scheme! Especially for a wedding in April!! I vote the soft purple hues.

I am partial to the dark colors because those are my colors. But I could see using the lighter colors for Spring. What do you think your bridesmaids would look the best in?

I really like the first lighter color scheme since your wedding is in Spring. I also think that color bridesmaid dress compliments your blush wedding gown really well!

They are both gorgeous. I, personally, love the contrast of the darker burgundy and flowers versus the lighter blush of your gown (which is stunning!).

For an April wedding, the first colors are a lot more fitting. Darker colors are usually for fall and winter weddings. Both are gorgeous, though!
