Cheap Ceremony and Reception Venue in South NJ (Camden County)?

Melissa, on March 29, 2010 at 5:23 PM Posted in Planning 0 7

I've researched all sorts of different places and I've been to roughly 10. What I've discovered is that they're either really ugly or really expensive. Granted, my definition of expensive isn't the same as most brides.

I want to keep my wedding VERY simple. I don't see the importance of making it into a huge, expensive event because regardless, it will be special. I'd rather save money for the future (e.g., a house).

Does anyone know a place that charges less than $50 per person?

I've been trying to get into contact with them for the past couple of days but haven't been able to get hold of anyone yet. =(

That's where we're having our ceremony and reception. I think the manager, Tracey, is off on Mondays. Try tomorrow! They are great! Good luck!

Hey we are from the Camden county area. And after looking for venues for my daughters wedding, we decided on The Castle Caters. Their customer service is superb and they had the most reasonable prices around. You can check out their website it is listed here under venues.

I was at a nice wedding at Valleybrook. Definitely try to get in touch with them.

Also check out Running Deer Golf Club, owned by the same people as Valleybrook. http://www.runningdeergolfclub.com/

You can also check the Holiday Inn Bridgeport (Exit 10, just off 295).

I am in central Jersey and am having BOTH my wedding and my ceremony at Soriano's in Bridgewater. For 100 people, they are offering open bar (5 hours), Full cocktail hour with 10 passed hor'dovures of my choice, full course- sit down dinner, wedding cake style/flavor of my choice, all table-linens, centerpieces, and chair covers, and ceremony they are supplying chairs and arches on a pretty veranda- all for 5k. I thought it was a GREAT deal in a beautiful area. And obviously, if less people are attending, you will be able to get it for less. But it's all inclusive with great rates, so it might be worth the trip to come a lil further north.

Did you check out Auletos? I think it's in Deptford, NJ. Heard they were very reasonable, and it's beautiful there.

And there's also Lucien's in Berlin which has an amazing ballroom with this grand staircase inside the room. I know a few people to have gotten married there and have all raved about it.

    Good luck!!!
