Bridesmaids gifts?? uhhhh, have a few ideas...

Mrs Schmidt, on September 25, 2013 at 4:45 PM Posted in Planning 0 11

What are you getting your bridesmaids??

I've purchased earrings for them and I'm making them brooch bouquets that are completely personalized.

I bought a clutch and a personalized compact for each BM. I'd also like to find a different piece of jewelry for each of them, though not necessarily to wear at the wedding.

I'm doing silver wishbone necklaces so I can wish them to be my BM, coffee cozies and starbucks cards (with five bucks on them) for when we go dress shopping, Tumblers with little things like nail polish, lip gloss and etc at the Bach party, personalized coffee mugs with five dollar gift card and mani/pedi card (five bucks too) when we go to get our nails done the day before. Then "night night" bags (monogram bags from etsy) full of pajamas, slippers, handmade pillow cases and pillows, blankets and snacks for when we stay at the hotel together and baskets with jewlery roll with day of jewelry inside, full length mirrors w names on them, champagne flutes w etching, personalized hangers, koozies and survival evening bag/clutch to match their dresses. I'm handmaking most of the items so, it helps save money! Smiley smile

I got them each a tote bag, a bracelet to wear the day of the wedding, hair barrette for their hair the day of the wedding, emergency beauty kit (old navy), hankies that say "no ugly crying" & I'm rhinestoning flip flops for the reception. We also paid for the night before the wedding room for all of us (boys in one room, girls in another), I will be buying them all coffee the morning of the wedding and I will be providing lunch for everyone the day of the wedding. And I will probably throw in a lip gloss for them.

I bought everyone items from Brighton jewelry. Some are getting bracelets, one a picture frame, one a ring holder. I have never given Brighton jewelry to anyone and seen a disappointed look on their face. It looks expensive, but is usually $50 or less.

UGH! Too much! But I love all the gifts and the girls so I don't feel bad about it.

-A hanger (I am going to paint pen their name on it...super cheap 8 of them for $4.99)

-Necklace and earrings (pearls) to wear the day of.

-A clutch that will probably have their jewelry and some emergency kit stuff that looks like this: https://www.etsy.com/transaction/150783043?ref=fb2_tnx_title

(Four of them are this color combo/my wedding colors, one is orange chevron with a purple bow for the rival college fan, and one is grey chevron with a purple bow because that was the other BM's fave colors)

-Almost definitely a robe with their monograms. I found them at a site called robemart for $13.99/each...$12.99 actually because of a quantity discount.

I got them something personal, nothing to do with the actual wedding. I spent about $100 each. I went to Jared's and got them jewelry that fit them personally

MOH got a pink sapphire ring

BM1 got a necklace with an opal and a tiny pink zirconia stone accent

BM2 got a simple small blue sapphire necklace
