HELP!! Uneven amount of bridesmaids and groomsmen

so I have a dilemma. I have 8 bridesmaids and 1 maid of honor and my fiancé has 7 groomsmen and one best man. I thought about making another one of the girls a matron of honor. But the numbers will be uneven is this tacky? Should I cut down my side? Can I have both walk by themselves? Is nine too many?

I have the same exact dilemma. I am going to have one of the groomsmen walk down the aisle with 2 bridesmaids instead of one.

Uneven is fine. Just have the 2 BM without GM walk together or on their own.

Honestly, who cares if it's uneven. Your bridal party is supposed to be your nearest and dearest. You choose them based on love and support and not to because you want even numbers. They're not there to make pictures look good; they're there to stand by your side and support you.
