Bridesmaid dress color Delma

Samantha , on September 22, 2017 at 2:37 AM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 15

Our colors are black orange as purple for our October 27th fall wedding. I'm having a hard time deciding on what color to put the bridal party in. Part of my thought deep purple to accent the orange and black. But then thought about doing all black with the orange flowers and purple flowers and all the other decorations!!!! Any thoughts?

I'm actually getting married on October 28 this year and m color scheme is fairly close to yours. Mines purple silver and black with small accent of red here and there.

What I'd do (and I'm a bit biased cause purple is my favorite color) is put the girls in purple with black bouquets and only a flower or two of the orange, or do black with purple. Even if you put the girls in purple and do purple in the bouquets the flowers will still look great.

    Dilemma....

I'd do a dark purple for BM dresses with orange and purple roses.

Black would certainly be easy for them and they may actually get future use out of the dress.

I'm doing something similar to this. Black dresses with my colors peeking out. Which are orange and purple.

Our colors were black and orange with some silver/grey. No bridal party but a lot of siblings on DH's side. We bought orange ties for the men on his side, purple ties for the men on my side (immediate family only). My mom and his sister chose to wear purple.

I like the idea of purple and orange flowers with the black dresses. My entire bouquet was orange and purple.

My only concern would be finding bouquets in thosr colors, especially black. Maybe someone who has done it can give you more information.

My first thought is thank you for not considering orange dresses!! Many people look horrible in that color, including me! I think black dresses with purple and a few orange flowers would be gorgeous.

I like black dresses. It would be easy on the girls and the could possibly wear them again in the future

I would choose black. Not many women are going to be able to wear a purple or orange dress again. It will also be much easier to find orange and purple flowers for their bouquets.

It's true that it's hard to find black flowers (unless you go with artificial or dyed flowers, which is fine, too). But there are deep eggplant flowers like dahlias that read as black, but would also look good against the purple.

I would do black, and then, not sure if you're considering this, but if you let them pick out different styles of dress you don't have to worry about difficulties with matching the shade because it's black.
