Boudoir shoot: don't hesitate!

Guys! I got to see my boudoir photos tonight and I'm in such awe! My photograper is a freaking magician! If you've thought for even a millisecond about doing a boudoir shoot, DO IT!! It was expensive and out of my comfort zone but sooo with it! I could hardly believe it was myself when she showed me pictures. Do your research for a good photograper.... Mine made me feel so comfortable during the shoot. I felt and looked amazing! I didn't think I would want to tell or show anyone my pictures but I wish I could show them to everyone bc I'm so proud of them!

    I asked my FH if he would want them and he was hesitant because he knows how self conscoius I am. But he definitely wants them and i've considered it. Maybe closer to the wedding. Smiley catface

    I’d love to see them!!!! I have mine scheduled for Friday and I’m sooo nervous. Our wedding photographer is doing it and boudoir is her “specialty.” She’s making them into a booklet and giving them to my fiancé the morning of the wedding to catch his reaction since it’s a surprise 😉

    Absolutely agreed! I didn't think I'd have a good time at my boudoir photoshoot either because I wasn't sure I'd be comfortable getting photos taken in lingerie but like you, I couldn't believe the pictures they took were of me, lol. I let my FH pick out the pictures he liked best and my photographers are going to make a photo album and then a "travel" book Smiley laugh

    I'm doing the same thing. I used a different photographer from our wedding photog but I ordered a book and I plan to give it to my FH during our first look. I want my photog to capture his reaction! Good luck with your shoot! I'll tell you I started out in an oversized sweater and I ended up fully nude...she just helped me feel so comfortable that I felt ready to go fully nude by the end.

    Love it! My FH doesn't know anything about it. It's going to be a complete surprise on our wedding day when I give him a photo book. I was so glad to not have to choose pictures...the book will fit all of the images my photog edited.

    I am doing one in 2 weeks as my gift for him! I'm so happy to hear all these encouraging experiences!

    Do any of you ladies have any suggestions on where to order a nice book for it? I'm thinking shutterfly??

    I am ordering the book directly from my photographer but if that wasn't an option, I would be ordering from Shutterfly.
