Beach Honeymoon

Mrs. Siedlecki, on September 20, 2015 at 10:46 PM Posted in Honeymoon 0 8

Hi! Does anyone have any beach honeymoon recommendations? We have gone on a few beach vacations throughout our relationship so I want to do something a little different than the Carribean.

Also, I love the idea of an All Inclusive but I am nervous about how the food will be... my sister went to an All Inclusive in Mexico once and ate french fries the entire week!

Any suggestions?! Smiley smile

    Hi!

So in Mexico, you have to check out Dreams Riviera Maya (food is delicious!) Grounds are beautiful. service is like OMG! This resort is in Cancun.

If you want a laid back beach resort, check out what St. Johns has to offer. It's a beautiful island and home to a breathtaking beach: Trunks Bay!

And, last but certainly not least, check out what my country has to offer! I'm from the Dominican Republic and we have many resorts with delicious food, service and people!

    Check those out!

Well Hawaii has some pretty awesome beaches! They don't do all inclusive but depending on where you stay, you can definitely find places nearby with a lot of food options. It might just mean you have to rent a car. I live in Hawaii so if you have any questions let me know. I also highly recommend working with a travel agent to try and get you what you want. They can book packages with hotels to maybe at least get like a breakfast buffet included.

Just got back from wrightsville nc, it was beautiful. Amazing beaches and the water is so clear you can see from your shoulders to the bottom. Lots of stuff to do and everyone is super nice. It's just a little surf town but they have quite a few nice restaurants and it's pretty inexpensive.

My suggestion is to stay away from dreams and choose secrets instead. Dreams is family, secrets is adult only. They're owned by the same company. The Caribbean is so vast you'd need to be more specific. Costa Rica is quite beautiful. Eta: AI's have come a long way with their food. Do research on trip advisor. You will see bad reviews because some people are just so not picky. Just be open minded!

The excellence resort in playa mujeres. It's adult only and all inclusive. My bestie went there for their honeymoon and go back every year. They can't speak more highly of it. Not bad prices either!

Have you been to the Dominican Republic? Totally different vibe than the rest of the Caribbean. We stayed at Secrets and had no food issues. Loved it.

Thanks everyone! We have not been to Hawaii or Dominican Republic. My fiance isn't a fan of the long plane ride to Hawaii, or I would be there in a second!

We've been to Aruba a couple times, St. Thomas, St. Maarten, Puerto Rico and have cruised the Caribbean.

    The Maldives look amazing!!
