We stayed... we had to clean up before we left! It was amazing and gave extra time to be with the people who stayed to help out as well.

We are staying until the end to clean up afterwards. I think some coworkers want to party so more after the reception but we probably won’t do that.

What would be the reason for leaving early? We stayed for the entire thing! We even met up with a lot of people afterwards at the hotel bar for the after party and had a blast.

Why leave early? No fun in that!

I am wondering the same thing! I'm hoping that the adrenaline will keep me going because I'm always asleep by 10 and usually even earlier on busy days! I can't help it - just not a night person!!

(At my bachelorette party, I fell asleep at 10:30 and my girls could not wake me up no matter how hard they tried )

I think I saw somewhere where couples left like 30 mins early for the big send off. The last wedding I was a guest at we definitely kept dancing after the couple left.

At my bachelorette party I fell asleep early too.... from the day drinking lol.

The old tradition was that the couple was supposed to be the first to leave the wedding. The theory was that because they were never supposed to have had sex before, they must be so anxious to get started that they would leave early. Or in any event, they had to pretend they had never had sex before, and were that anxious to leave.

I think the tradition died when the expectation of the woman's virginity did.

We are staying on location, so yes...'til the end and probably then some!

Being that the rehearsal, ceremony, reception, and honeymoon are all in the same place, were kinda stuck staying lol which is fine with us because that just means less stress about it all for us.
