Any other May 2015 weddings?!?!

My FH and I got engaged 7/13/13 - Getting married 8/15/15 - 8mos from today!! :-)

We are 5/2 but we got engaged end of Jan 2014 so it's been a long engagement but I had to take a few months off wedding planning due to obligations so it worked out.

That's funny, Erin! I was actually super stressed because the venue we wanted (its where we met, at a mutual friend's wedding at that) was booked out two years for all Fridays and Saturdays. Then, my best friend (and now assigned maid of honor) came up with the genius idea of 05/24, its basically a Saturday since no one has to work the next day and we got the venue for cheaper since its on a Sunday!

We are getting married May 15. We had a longer engagement though and it has flown by. I'm getting excited that we are just 5 months away.

5/1/15 we are getting married. FH cousin is the same weekend as yours, so once we get back from our honeymoon we will have another wedding to go to!

I got engaged on March 15, 2014 and my wedding date is May 2, 2015!

5/2/15! its close we have been engaged since Nov 28th 2013 so we have had plenty of time for planning!

Doesn't the time just fly by? Seems to be the general consensus whether it was a long or short engagement.

We were engaged 8/9/2013...having a long engagement has help reduced the stress of having our wedding 5/16/2015. I have so much time on my hand now. But good luck to you on making it happen.

We have been engaged just over a year!

I would have much rather had a shorter engagement. I am not enjoying the planning process and feel like this long engagement is torture, but we needed to save the money up. My cousin and his wife had an engagement of 7 months, she breezed thru the planning and they had a beautiful wedding in November!

Yes! My FH and I got engaged on August 23, 2014 and our wedding is May 31, 2015! A shorter engagement is perfect... I really don't think we could wait any longer to get married!

May 9th here, got engaged on April 2, so just over a year. When I posted it on facebook everyone thought it was a delayed April Fool's Day prank haha

I pretty much have everything booked, the only thing I still need is to figure out our cake. And yes, we ended up getting discounts throw some of the others too!

May 30th 2015... have been engaged since October 5th 2013.... Wish we could have had a shorter engagement but the place we had our hearts on is in high demand and is a bit pricey and we needed the time to save the $$$.... Sucks having to wait, but glad we are so happy with our venue! Gave us tons of time to book all of the vendors we wanted as well
