All in one invites

Jessica, on January 8, 2019 at 10:49 AM Posted in Etiquette and Advice 0 9

Anyone out there doing the all in on invites? The ones where its the wedding invite and you just rip off the bottom part and fill out the accept/ decline part and send it back.

Just wondering if when you sent out the invites if you put a stamp on to send it out as well as on the part you rip off to send back or just leave it and they send it back with their own stamp. Hopefully this isint a confusing question.

We did this and got a lot of compliments on the clever design! We pre- addressed the reply cards.

I didn't do them but I received one to an upcoming wedding and I thought it was such a great idea. They pre-stamped the RSVP card just like you would any other invite.

I would pre-stamp the RSVP card for guests.

We did those but purchased envelopes for both the invite and add one for the rsvp to send back. Our worry was postal marks being in the wrong spots and not allowing us to see what people wanted for food or possibly who the rsvp was from. We had that issue with our postcard save the dates where the post office put a sticker bar code over the wedding website address.

I just got an invite like this and thought it was a great idea! The reply card definitely had a stamp on it (for a post card) - the same rule would apply as if you had a RSVP envelope. I wouldn't ask your guests to provide their own stamps.

I used all in one invites and haven't had any issues. You definitely need to stamp the return post cards.

I disagree with the envelopes - I think it would be tough to include in your invite logistically with how they fold up, and IMO completely defeats the purpose of doing all in one. As long as you leave extra room at the bottom you should have no issues, and most preset designs on any of the leading websites do.

We are doing all-in-ones! They save so much money and are so cute. Yes, you will need to stamp the return postcards, but the great thing is that you can use postcard stamps for that part so it will save on postage! Smiley smile

Yes we put stamps on the RSVP to match the ones on the front of the card, we just chose one of the nice designs that usps has.
