How many 5x7 prints are included in the original package?

Do you have a link to her site? I'd like to see the quality of these photos. Yes, prints can be pricey but I can't image paying 2K just for 110 photos, period. I paid my photographer 700 and she produced over 500 images for me and I got print release for all plus a $75 print credit (basically a free canvas of the pic of my choosing).

A 16X20 print can be a little expensive, so it might be reasonable depending on how "good" the photographer is.

I'd say that's more than fair.

I don't know. That seems a little steep, but it depends on how good she is. How many hours will she be there for that price? Is that one photog or two? We are paying $3200 but we get two photographers, 9 hours, all images edited (we should expect back between 500-1000 images back) and all rights to the photos. Heck with our engagement photos we get 200 images back from a hour and a half long shoot, but she probably took over a thousand.

Is that for your total photography package or just the prints/release?

Ours is charging us right around that same price and includes:

-He attends and shoots the rehearsal and dinner

-Epix

-Two shooters for ALL day coverage the day of the wedding

-Release and rights to ALL photos

-Disc with all photos shot that day

-$400 (half) down on our album

-Unlimited shots taken

-Editing and retouch

This is the total Package and it will be 1 photog for 6 hours

Do you get the full rights to these images? also do you get the raw files? It does not seem like a lot, and those are just basic assurances.

I would just ask for clarification on

1. who owns the images afterward

2. do you get the raw files (meaning un-edited, large high res files - you can edit them yourself or use these in other ways in the future)

3. will those 5 x 7 proofs have their watermark? and if you wanted to purchase these proofs is it extra?

$1710 for only 110 images? No way!

We paid $1900 for two photographers. One was there from 1pm-10pm and the other from 1pm-5pm. We got back over 3,000 photos. Your price seems WAYYYYYYYY high.

When we first start talking i was thinking 12hrs and she shot me a price with 200 prints at $3200

Why 110 photos and not unlimited? That seems very odd to me. I would ask her for full release of all edited images.

I paid $3,000 for 10 hours, 2 photographs and a cd with printing rights of all edited images.

I think she means that's the only ones she will edit and I get the other unedited pictures. I am going to write a couple questions down and ask her when we have a meeting. Because it just seems weird not to get all of the pictures she takes that day.

We're paying $1,700 for all day coverage. The package includes all the pics on a disc (we have full rights to the pics), our choice of an 11X14 or 3 - 8X10s, a 240 pic photo album & a dvd slideshow of the pics.

That's the best deal that we found while looking for a photographer. One photographer quoted us almost $5,000 for 6 hours coverage & all we would get was a small album & an online gallery. I almost had a heart attack! LOL

:s Wow. We signed on for $2300 for 150 photographs, photographer will be there from 11 am to 11 pm (12 hours), DVD of .raw images after editing. Nothing additional.

That being said, my best friend paid $3500 this summer, 6 hours of photographs, 110 edited prints on an online album. Guess we live in an expensive area!

The 110 worries me. For reference, I am paying $1500 (but I got a discount) for 10 hours, 2 photographers, & 800 edited images with full rights to print. This included an engagement session, where I got about 100 edited pictures. I'm in southeast Michigan.

I paid $1600 for 7.5 hours of coverage and got 600 pictures (with retouching) + full rights/ownership of the images.

Prints, etc were not included with that package.

I suggest you keep looking especially if you aren't happy with that price.

I live in Washington and we are a quite expensive up here and honestly this is the best price I have found so far. there are a couple others I have looked into and they were more spendy... The thing i have hard time with is I live a real rural area and most people don't even know where my town is lol. But thanks ladies.

I almost forgot. Our photographer included an engagement session because I got his info from a local bridal show.
