Dip powder nails

FutureMrsO, on September 5, 2018 at 7:49 PM Posted in Planning 0 13
I know there’s a lot of threads here asking about this so I just wanted to share my wedding nails. I had the SNS dip powerder done last Wednesday afternoon before my Friday wedding and they’re are still perfect a week later. I definitely recommend dip over gel to all brides!

I loved my pink and white dip powder nails, back when regular French manicures was the trend and not these talons that everyone has now. It always looked perfect, the white stayed white and never got dirty , and lasted a long time.

I wonder if it would hold up like the gel though? I do the gel every 3 weeks and only because of my nail growing out. But my hands are in alcohol 20+ times a day and washed 30+ times a day because of work... this is already 2 weeks of wear.

Your ring is gorgeous. I love your nails. I usually get gel every two weeks but I think I need to give my nails a break. They’re starting to get weak and break.

Do you know how easy it is to remove! I’ve been so interested in trying them but worry about this! They look great!

Mine actually holds up much better than gel. I work with kids who can get aggressive so I’m using my hands all the time and those stay perfectly

They usually do it the same way as gel with the acetone soak. It’s pretty easy!

I love the dip powder and will definitely be doing it for my wedding. It lasts forever. I usually get mine done every 3-4 weeks just because they grow out, not because they’ve chipped or anything. These are 5 weeks old (I’ve been busy and haven’t had a chance to get to the nail salon). Other than the ridiculous amount they’ve grown out, they’re in perfect condition. I’m a nurse and wash my hands/use hand sanitizer constantly and they’ve held up.

I usually do gel and got dip like 3 weeks ago to try it and I hated it. It just felt so thick, even compared to gels. Did anyone else feel that way? I know people love it, but it is more expensive so I'm iffy about going to another place and wasting the money and wrecking my nails more.
