Hi! I recently went to a bridal show and just got a text that we have won free wedding bands and a 3day/2night vacation to either Mexico, the Bahamas or the DR. She said we only have to pay for airfare and taxes. Wondering if anyone else has won and what their experience was like? Any hidden fees or anything you ended up having to pay?
I never win anything so I am just a little skeptical. Obviously I want this to be true though! Thanks in advance!

We didn’t win anything like this, but this sounds similar to timeshare presentations we’ve been offered at resorts we’ve visited in the past. They offer you a weekend stay essentially, but you sit through some kind of sales pitch to get it.

I'd recommend asking for a copy of the terms and conditions of the award/raffle so you can decide how to proceed. You don't want to find out later on that it's really to good to be true or that your acceptance of the prize requires something you do not want or are unwilling to do.

We also “won” these for going to a cooking show. We didn’t redeem any of the prizes but they seemed legit.

We went to this also, I texted the promo code for free wedding bands -never heard back, send in our request for champagne flutes-never heard back. Called the number given to us and it went to a voicemail, tried to go to the website and it doesn’t exist 🙃
