Dinner Time!

Soup is great, but I think you need to provide something more substantial to fill your guests up. I don't think there's really any winter themed dishes, but I would go with heartier foods like starches and proteins. Maybe a carving station?

I think a soup station is great, but I'd have some more options to fill people up too.

Maybe pasta too? It's affordable, you can add various proteins, and it's warm and hearty for the winter.

Just as a precaution- we are having a February wedding and suggested a soup station to our caterer. She basically said it was a no go bc keeping the soups super hot and continually heating up new batches is really difficult. Maybe chat it over with your caterer- we are doing carving station, a pad Thai station, and a taco station.

Soup would be nice as a beginning course or part of cocktail hour, but I don’t think that would suffice as a meal.

You have all been so helpful! I think I still want to do soup stations, but as you ladies said I might would like to add pasta and meats I appreciate y'all!
