What’s on the menu for your reception !? We will have appetizers probably jut the venues cheese and cracker and breadstick option. Then we are thinking of doing bbq chicken or honey garlic chicken as one option and pulled pork as another. Sides would be mashed potatoes, Mac and cheese, and some sort of veggie. I don’t know if that seems too not formal? For dessert donuts and mini cupcakes. We will also have a popcorn station. I’m super indecisive though so this may change over the few months... what about you guys?

So we are actually hiring a taco man!! It is super popular where I am from and the food is amazing for a good price!! We didn't want to risk a bunch of fancy foods tasting horrible when we know the tacos would be bomb! But the options you have sound really good and I think would be hard to mess up taste wise!

We are serving salad, bbq beef brisket, chicken limon, Mac n cheese, garlic mashed potato and green beans it will be buffet style - not self service though staff serve. Appetizers will be bruschetta and some sort of fig crostini. There will also be bread/butter on tables

We served stations instead of a traditional buffet.
Station 1: carving station; turkey and beef
Staton 2: mashed potato and mac & cheese bar (sides of veggies as well)Station 3: taco and fajita bar

Appetizers will be a Brie & raspberry in a pastry pocket. Spring salad with balsamic vinegar or ranch dressing. Beef peppercorn with horseradish (if wanted) or chicken Marsala. Garlic mashed potatoes & steamed veggies. Hawaiian sweet rolls with honey butter or regular butter.
Cake is 3 tiers- bottom tier is a almond infused cake with almond cream cheese filling with a drizzle of strawberry compote; 2nd tier is a churro cake with salted caramel filling; top tier is red velvet cake with cream cheese filling. Yummy!
