Dinner after ceremony

Steph, on July 26, 2020 at 9:14 PM Posted in Planning 0 6
We live in Florida so really virus is pretty bad here. We decided just to have a church ceremony so we texted all our guest and said to RSVP by text or our website it they would attend just the ceremony. But a few days ago I found a restaurant who will host a wedding dinner afterwards. So my question is should I wait until more people RSVP then send a text saying we are having dinner after would you like to come or what?? (Just to those who said they’d attend). Also, if people haven’t rsvp should I just not tell them about the dinner... I feel maybe the people who would actually would just attend our ceremony deserve the invite to the dinner. What do you think ?

I would text all invited guests about the dinner and let them RSVP by text or on your website for that as well.

I live in FL too, I ended up only selecting close family and a couple friends to attend then that was our list. How many people do you think might go?

We invited a little over 100 people but so far 32 people said they’re going but everyone else we haven’t heard from yet. I’m kinda nervous now because the place holds 46 people inside so now idk ! Where in Florida are you having your wedding ?

I think I'd only reach out to the people who've RSVP'd yes. There might be people who would attend the ceremony but not feel comfortable in a restaurant right now, but I kind of agree that people who are willing to attend only the ceremony deserve to be offered dinner if it's feasible. You should follow up with the people who haven't RSVP'd by the RSVP deadline.
