all of our family and friends know we are getting married at city hall and are planning a dinner to invite everyone to after we get married. so i do not know how to word it. we are having a dinner at an Italian restaurant- its a sit-down 4 course pre-set menu- with beer and wine.
my fiancee and i would be inviting the guests. i seen some like this:
Join us in celebrating the
marriage of
xxx
and
xxxx
with a reception marking the
return from our wedding
ceremony at the
Blair Golf Club
The reception will be held
on Sunday, August 10th, 2018
at 4:00 p.m.
The Diamond Room
1009 Pierce Avenue
Oxford, MS 38655
but i am not sure if "reception" is the right word... and since we are not getting married at a place i guess i should just leave out the "ceremony at the Blair gold club". i guess if i put "xyz restaurant" they would know its a restaurant and not a hall.. right?
any advice help in wording would be appreciated.
