Dinner 4 Two "gifts" Legit or Scam?

Melanie, on August 5, 2019 at 7:47 AM Posted in Planning 0 7

Hi Everyone! I went to Mad Bridal Expo this weekend and I won a 3 day 2 night stay at viva resorts in Bahamas, Mexico, or Dominican Republic. To obtain the vacation voucher and gifts I have to attend a 90 min cooking class tomorrow. After the class I will allegedly get the vacation voucher with is "all-inclusive" with the exception of air fair and taxes. I also will receive vouchers for champagne flutes and wedding bands. Has anyone else done this? We're going to the class tomorrow to check it out but there are very few reviews about this and they are more negative then not. Some say it's legit. Help! Advice? Opinions?

Hmmmm I would kind of assume that it's some sort of hoax or scam, especially based off of the negative reviews. It definitely couldn't hurt to check it out, but don't be surprised if it doesn't pan out.

That's what I was thinking. Even if the vacation voucher doesn't appear to be legit, I'll get fed and free vouchers for champagne glasses lol

I remember my bridesmaid got that too when we went. She didn't claim it though because she felt like it was probably a scam. I went to this timeshare presentation once and they really just try to sell you on it aha but I went for the freebies and free breakfast too ahah.

Whenever you win anything at a wedding show-it’s a scam 75% of the time.

My friend one several years ago and received a viva vacation to Aruba. She got wedding bands as well. I went with her to the presentation. They did try to get her to buy the cookware but she said no and took the gifts
