Digital save the dates & invitations

Meghan, on September 29, 2020 at 8:24 PM Posted in Planning 1 5
Did anyone send digital save the dates & invitations instead of mailing?

What company did you use? Was the process simple? (Did you have to do any printing/cutting or anything like that)
Thank you!

I’m in love with Greenvelope! The amount of customization you can add to your invite, rsvp, save the date, etc is quite nice. From wax seals to envelopes, from fonts to cards styles, you really get quite a lot of options. Your first 10 invitees are free. If you need to send out more, you can purchase them by quantity (and I feel the pricing is quite reasonable). The animation of the card opening and revealing itself is amazing too. There’s a mobile app and the website. The mobile app has some limitations but the website even gives you the option to upload a song for when your card opens!

We did digital invitations for our minimony through Punchbowl and it was very convenient. I’ve used them for my sons birthday parties before so I knew how it worked. Super easy.

I created a graphic on Canva (free), saved it as a JPEG, made it a hyperlink to the RSVP page from Gmail, and BCC'ed everyone. The graphic says something like "Click this image to RSVP".

My friend also used Paperless Post flyers and emailed them out. I think you can just send the guests the link to it, bc there's a cost beyond "50 coins" in their system (not sure that equates to in real $$.)
