Did you include a spot on rsvp for dietary restrictions?

Out of our four meal choices, two can be prepared gluten free upon request. One of them is fairly obvious, and the other is not. I can't figure out how to indicate this on the RSVP card without it being really busy and confusing. Would it be okay to just put it on the website, and rely on word of mouth? I know of two family members of FH with severe gluten intolerance, and they are both already aware of their options.

I do plan on putting a line for dietary restrictions on the RSVP card. For the two meal choices that can be prepared GF, can you just add on the RSVP card "Gluten Free available" or something like that in parentheses after the meal? And then still add a line for dietary restrictions? And then maybe add more detail on your website

I put “food allergies” as a meal choice on my rsvp. I only have one person with them, and they wrote what allergies they have on the card.

We did not. I know one of my guest is vegan so we are getting a vegan option for their meals

I’m having a line about it because I’m having a buffet, so there’s otherwise no food info on the card , and some special diet meals will have to be special ordered.

if I had meal choices, I’d presume that people would approach me if they had any concerns there. As a food allergy sufferer, i typically reach out if I see something that makes me pause (I went to an RD once and didn’t know the menu ahead of time but I knew they were doing a prix fixe menu at a restaurant and I couldn’t eat like half the things at the restaurant so I checked with the hosts ahead of time). At plated meal receptions I usually do a quick check in with a waiter as soon as I’ve found my seat.

I did not put this because our guest list was small. I already knew who had dietary restrictions (2 people), and reached out privately to make food choices.
