I just bought tix to the one in Washington, D.C., but I don't even know why I am going- I have all of the "details"/ideas planned. We have our venue, cake, photog, invites, STDs, ceremony music, rings, officiant, wedding coordinator, already .... Def need to find a DJ. We have not spoken with any caterers but we have 5 in mind. My wedding is April 2014.

My first show my fiancé and I went just the 2 of us. If was nice to see what he definitely hated and what he liked. I think they can lead you in the right direction for something's but be aware anyone you give info too will call you non stop! I have had to ask a couple places to stop calling, they get your info from stuff you sign up for, some is worth is some is garbage. But I suggest bring your man he will stop you from getting roped into some gimmicks.

LOL @ Sarah. I so agree about bringing the FH. I just wish some of the shows had more stuff for the men to enjoy. I hate that there are only 1 or 2/more tuxedo wear for men, but I saw Candi you should go and have fun. Also look for codes to get free tickets to the shows.

I've been to one so far and booked my photographer from it and got a great bridal show discount! I'm definitely going to more (at least 3) next year. You get alot of free stuff and get put in the drawing for prizes just for showing up. I went by myself and it was definitely a lot to take in and overwhelming, so next time I will be sure to take my MOH and/or my bridesmaid(s).

I went and got completely overwhelmed but that could be b/c I hate crowds. I took my bestfriend with me; lots of good snacking & looking but other than that...kind of just put me in the wedding spirit & collected a bunch of papers/booklets I dont need.

I did find my cake vendor there, though!
