I'm sending out my RSVP cards with the "_____ of _____ persons will attend" format, where I'm supposed to write the number in the slot before the word "persons." I'm concerned that there are some people who will not understand that they're supposed to write a number in the slot before the word "of" and will put a checkmark or something in that slot. Because some things just aren't obvious to some people.
It looks like this:
_____ of _____ persons will attend
_____ Sorry, cannot attend
If you used that format, did people have trouble understanding it in your experience?
