Did anyone have circle mirror centerpieces on rectangular tables?

Midwest May, on May 4, 2016 at 4:00 PM Posted in Do It Yourself 0 5

Did they fit okay?

Because of the guest list count and photobooth requirements, we are having to switch from round tables to rectangle tables in the adjacent room - open to ballroom. The centerpieces are 13" circular mirrors with votives and a cylinder vase. Is the mirror going to be too big for the normal banquet rectangle tables? Do we just leave off the mirror and add more votives down the center of the rectangle tables?

I'd leave it be. you're overthinking. if it's too big, ditch the mirror. no one will notice but you and the couple.

Angela, exactly! Thanks for the info that yes it was too big. Not enough hours or days left to run to the venue and check.

Skip the mirrors. I feel like they're outdated and nobody will remember them anyway.

How wide are the tables? I think you could do a chalk up of the table at home and set the mirrors in the center to see if they would interfere with guests setting down their plates. Otherwise, I would say don't worry about it.

Hello! I'm a wedding planner in the Southern California area & I've actually had similar questions to this one.

Rock the different shaped mirrors on your tables! Displaying different textures & shapes is visually appealing to the eye. Send us pictures so we can see them!
