I didn't even THINK about having a toothpick or floss with me. so i wish i had those. i made my MOH go find one in the venue aha. but other things i forgot were i had a sign i wanted to hold while doing my photos with my husband but it slipped my mind

I lost my wedding jewelry the morning of the wedding and my bridal party spent about 30-45 minutes looking for it so I didn't get any close up photos of my jewelry or as many photos of my bridal party because they were trying to find my jewelry. I definitely wish I had those photos, but my grandmother had rushed me out of our hotel room so I wouldn't wake my grandfather. Because I was in such a hurry, I didn't think about where my jewelry got placed until I needed for detail photos and I couldn't find it. My advice is to make sure you know where everything is so that it doesn't get lost in all of the mayhem.

For my best friend's wedding I was MoH, and made sure I was prepared with a small sewing kit for hemline issues, double sided tape (for a million reasons), clear nail polish for runs in pantyhose, bobby pins and safety pins, and a multicolored pack of sharpies (black and brown are excellent for filling scuffs on shoes in a pinch). I also brought an extra hairspray in case anyone needed it, a 3 pack of the small packs of tissues, and headache medicine just in case.


I'll be bringing the same for my wedding in February.

We forgot to get the marriage certificate signed 🤷‍♀️. We remembered at the end of the reception and grabbed my husband's dad and grandfather because they were nearby.

I forgot my toothbrush, as well, and double sided tape.

I brought a whole lot of things I didn't use, though!
