My FH and I are looking into possibly having destination/out of state wedding (not quite sure where just yet) but are also worried about whether or not our guests would be willing to to travel. Was there anything that you guys did to accommodate your guests to make them more willing to say yes or did they just up and go without question? We're stuck on what to do.

Lol understandable. We would have a decent set up but nothing TOO crazy fancy or anything. Who knows, when the time comes, maybe we'll change our mind and not have one after all lol but as of right now, we would like to.

Awesome! We're super excited. We went through so many themes and ideas and just ended up with Hawaii so now everything once again has changed lol. We're definitely sticking with this one though. No turning back!

I’m not sure if you consider mine a destination wedding (100 miles away from all guests except 2), but everyone will be coming except one guest.

I believe it would be. If I'm not mistaken it's considered a destination wedding if it's 100 miles or more but that's great that you have just about everyone showing up. We've decided on Hawaii and now we're not sure how many people would or could actually make it out of the 60 we're inviting.

We were originally gonna have a bigger decent wedding....we have changed it to a destination wedding in Branson, Missouri...& it is alot cheaper...most likely more fun...& it's kinda like a mini vaca to hang out...although we will still be inviting everyone closest to usSmiley smile

We were so set on Hawaii for awhile now but since we started talking about wanting to actually start a family soon, we figured we would get married somewhere closer and much much CHEAPER! As of right now we have a contender in Utah, Idaho and one possibly in California. I guess we will see how we feel after all of our questions are answered lol.

Abby, OMG My fiance and I are planning the exact same! Although we're planning on getting married in Sandals Jamaica. Like what you stated, they offer free weddings with a min of 3 nights stay and everything is taken care of too like the cake, marriage license, bouquet, etc. My fiance and I were concerned of how we're going to write out the invites without offending too many people . Like, we don't wanna invite one family member and have the other family member get mad that they didn't get an invite. We're also worried that since we already got married, people won't take our civil wedding back home seriously. Like we're afraid no one really wants to come . Are you guys sending out two invites simultaneously? One for Hawaii and one for back home? I'm super curious as to how you guys are doing this. It's so cool we have the same plans!!
