Dessert

Trying to figure out dessert for our June wedding as our venue does not provide it (unless we do a s'mores bar for $10/pp. plus pay for an attendant). At this point, we aren't doing cake. We are thinking of a donut wall and also bringing in a local place to do ice cream sundaes. Also tossing around the idea of adding mini desserts. But how many minis per person with these other options? I saw on rec that said 4-6/person if you have other food/dessert options. That seems like a LOT. Thoughts?

4-6 a person does sound like a lot considering you want to also have a donut wall and ice cream. if you were going to add on mini dessert then i think 2 a person is enough considering you've already got the donut and ice cream.

I brought in a sheet cake and assorted Italian pastries. I also had a hot and iced coffee bar

Hi Lexi! A good rule of thumb I've seen is to have 3-4 mini desserts per person if you are not having other desserts (like wedding cake).

So with your other dessert options (donut wall and sundaes) - I think you'll be safe if you allocate 1-2 mini desserts per person.
