No!!!!! Do whatever you want, it’s your day. Just so long as there’s a sanitary way to serve it, why not?

The one thing about edible cookie dough though is you might want to have one that's safer to eat just in case there are people with sensitive stomachs and just to make it overall safer to eat. there are cookie dough recipes and stuff that are eggless, etc.

Your wedding is awsome if you serve cookie dough and if it fits your personality do it!

Edible cookie dough bar would be so awesome! As long as it’s one of the safe ones like Melle said in a previous comment. People have ice cream sundae bars, cookie bars, pie bars, why not edible cookie dough? I think it’s an amazing idea! Mmmm 😋

Maybe do (egg free) cookie dough, but also some other mini desserts? (Like mini cupcakes or brownies or something) Some people love cookie dough, but others don't like it. You might have mixed feelings from your guests if that's the only dessert for them, and you just do a small cutting cake for the couple. I think it's ok to include, but I would be disappointed as a guest if that was the only dessert.

Edible cookie dough sounds fun. But not everyone will partake. Don't have a cake to cut if you aren't offering it to guests as well, because guests will feel slighted that they aren't "good enough" to be offered cake. Why not have the option of cake for all and cookie dough for those who want it?

Really you can serve anything you want.

I think edible cookie dough sounds fun, and agreed it will show add some personality to your dessert table! Check with your caterer to see if they make that, or if they will allow you to bring it in from somewhere else. I am in the North East area and working with JAM Catering (Jeffrey Miller Catering) they actually make all the cakes in addition to the apps & meals! They are also super creative and have so many different options for savory and sweet. If you can't do the cookie dough but want something fun and unique, I would check with your caterer and see if they have anything like that! JAM Catering does a cute set up with warm cookies & a mini oven, plus churros & chocolate sauce, gelato, etc!
