Dessert bar.. how much?

I think probably 3 items per person (if they are small)

It depends on what the desserts are. If they are cookies/cupcakes or other small items I'd say three per person. If they are a bit more involved like a full sundae bar or dessert crepes I'd say one per person.

I think it also could depend on when the dessert bar is available. If you're using it as a late night snack you could probably get away with a bit less bc people may have left by then. But then again there's not really a way to know that ahead of time either. I agree with three per person if they are small.

We had about 3 miniature desserts per person and cake and it was not enough! People went crazy for the dessert bar. We had mini chocolate mousse, mini fruit tartlets, macaron and chocolate covered strawberries. We also had a 4 tier cake of assorted flavors and a 2 tiered grooms cake. Everything was gone!

We are having the exact same thing you are! We estimated about 2/3 per person. We are doing cake, two different mini cupcakes, thumbprint cookies, and brownies. Also can depend on how much food you plan on serving as well (apps, dinner options)!
